Erika Banks began her vocal training at age eleven with the late Mrs. Laura Jean Thompson. She went on to receive her B.M. and M.M in voice performance, both from the University of Michigan, where she studied with the late Distinguished Professor Shirley Verrett. She has performed the roles of "Nannetta" in Verdi's Falstaff, and "Pamina" in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. She is also proud to have been a featured performer with Pacific Opera, The John Link Project, Akim Funk Buddha, The New World Orchestra, Unity of New York, Out Before Nine Concert Series and with the OMNI Ensemble.
